Sunny Daisy Greetings

Today I am super excited to share this cheery card I create with Dare 2 B Artzy's New Totally Tracy Find Your Purpose stamp set!   I started by stamping the flower image from this stamp set several times onto white cardstock filling my background piece. I then lightly outlined the flowers with Specturm Noir IB1 marker.    The little pop of color added so much to the flowers! I then colored the flower centers with my Y15 Copic marker and added accents with my Spectrum Noir GB8 marker!   I matted the flower background onto black cardstock. I stamped my greeting from the Blissful Blossoms Stamp set and matted it on black cardstock.  I added a Sunshine Artzy Doodle banner and a coordinating bow to finish off the card! Hope you are inspired to get stamping!!!

Love is in the Air!

Hello Chris here and today I am sharing this romantic greeting with you! I started by repeatedly stamping my Texture stamp onto the  Pomegranate Artzy Doodles paper.  I love the design it created! I then matted the Artzy Doodle paper onto black card stock.  I added a paper doily. I stamped the heart and the greeting onto water color paper, and colored the heart, using Tattered Angels Festival Glimmer Mist. I fussy cut the heart and added a bow and a flower to finish off the card!

Sunshine Card Greetings

Hello!  Today I would like to share with you this very summer-y greeting I created with Dare 2B Atrzy Stamps! I started by using the Sunset Yellow Artzy Doodles Paper to create my card base.  I then stamped the fruit slice from the new Flip Flops Stamp set using coordinating Dare 2B Artzy inks!  I stamped my Drink image  and greeting using Dare 2B Artzy's Totally Black ink. I brought my stamp to life using my Spectrum Noir Markers (BT1, BT2, CT1, GB5). I punched out my image and matted the image on another punched piece of Artzy Doodle Bright Pumpkin paper. After adhering the refreshing drink to my card I felt the card needed something more!............... So what's a crafter to do?   I raided our straws and trimmed a straw to fit the card and topped it with a coordinating bow!!!!  I then hand cut the greeting into a banner and added to the card with dimensional tape!   Hope you are inspired to try oout these new stamp sets!!!! ...

Only worry in the World is the Tide Gonna Reach My chair?

Hi all!  Today I am sharing this beach-y card I created using Dare 2B Artzy's new Stamp Flip Flops Stamps set!  My sister and I try to have lunch about once a week. What does that have to do with this card?  Well, there is this little shop right near the Pub we hit for lunch and outside that shop they have these chairs!  and they are red!!!  So as soon as I saw this stamp set, I knew my chair HAD TO BE RED!!!!!!!!! Anyway, I starting my using my Distress inks to create the "beach" and the "Ocean scene".  I stamped my sentiment onto the scene and then matted my scene onto the Artzy Doodles paper.  I stamped the chair using Dar 2B Artzy inks and fussy cut out my image! The starfish is created using my Modge Podge Molds and that tiny shell is a real  shell. Hope you are having a great summer! Lift Your Spirits Tag

Hello!  Today I would love to share this Tag I created using Dare 2B Artzy Stamps! I started by adding Gesso to my tag.  I then stamped the Cloud from the Lift Your Spirits stamp set with Versamark and embossing with white embossing powder. I then used Tim Holtz Distress crayons ( Peeled paint, Picket Fence, Chipped Sapphire) to create create the background, blending with a baby wipe. I then stamped the tiny balloon from the Hot Air Balloon set, using Tim Holtz Markers to color my stamp. ( you can see that stamping over the crayons works but isn't perfect.) I matted my tag onto Dare 2B Artzy Papers and added a coordinating ribbon. I stamped the Large balloon from the Hot Air Balloon Set on a piece of white cardstock and die cut the image using the Dare 2B Artzy coordinating dies.  ( I used Archival Ink here since I was using the Distress Markers) After coloring the image with Tim Holtz Distress Markers, I added the balloon to my tag. I then stamped my sen...

Butterfly Canvas

Hello!  Today I would like to share this canvas I created using Dare 2B Artzy Stamps and Artzy Doodle Papers! I started this project using a premade made (as in the text was already added) canvas that I picked up at Michaels. I first stamped the flower from the Tangle Jumpstart set a couple of times on scrap paper.  I cut those stamped images out to create some masks to use while stamping on my canvas. I then stamped the Flower from the Tangle Jumpstart onto my canvas, masking the flowers as needed to create the background. I chose to use Archival Ink since I knew I was going to be using some very wet watercolor inks.  I then painted my flowers using ColourArte's Twinkling H2Os.  I chose the Twinkling H2Os because they add transparent color that allowed that text to show through! Here is a close up of the flowers.   While my watercolors were still wet I added splatters of color all over the canvas.  I added my sentiment which was printed on p...

Dare 2B Artzy - June Challange

Good Morning!  Today I am sharing my take on this month's Dare 2B Artzy's Challenge!     This month's challenge theme is BLING!!!!!!!!!!!!   UM, I think I have some of that!!!!!! To create this card I started by marking the diagonal lines with PENCIL (the pen will come later) on a piece of white cardstock slightly smaller than my finished card.  To make it easy I just used the width of my ruler. I then stamped the tiny flower from the Be Yourself Stamp set   using the Dare 2B Artzy Paradise Premium Ink .  I then used one of my journaling pens to go over the diagonal lines, erasing the pencil marks when done. I added coordinating sequins in the center of my flowers.  I matted the entire "card" Dare 2B Artzy's Artzy Doodles paper .  I created 2 banners from some scraps of the  Artzy Doodles paper and topped off the card with a bow and flower whose edges were inked with a Tim Holtz Distress Marker. I created my greet...
