A Royal Birthday Greeting

Today I am sharing this simple birthday card I created which would be perfect for the princesses in your life.  I started with a simple tag. I adhered several crowns that I punched from scratch papers using my # 611 punch.  After adhering I used gesso to cover the crowns and the tag.  I then colorwashed ( a facny term I use to describe randomly adding multiple water colors)  the tag using ColourArte Twinkling H2Os (Cranberry, Bougainvillea, Pink Azalea, Periwinkle) . After the watercolors dried I added my tag to my card front and added robbon, a sticker greeting and a gemstone.  Hope you are inspired to create!

Natural Beauty

Today I am sharing this layout created for Kreaxions/Just Imagine .  I used a lot of my Sin City Stamps on this layout too!  For this layout I stamped a border about 1/3 of the way from the bottom of the page.  I added some Tim Holtz Tissue Paper.  I then Stamped some additional images onto the tissue paper and painted them with my Twinkling H2Os.  I then punched a border out using Kreaxions # 916 punch and painted the border strip with Twinkling H2Os.  I love this punch it has little scrolls that punch out!

Rainbow Butterflies Thinking of You Card

Today I am sharing my Kreaxions/Just Imagine project.  I finally got my #604 punch (the Butterfly) that I had by wanting for months!  So I couldn't wait to play with it. For this Card I punched out the butterflies using the #604 and then painted each butterfly with Twinkling H2O's from ColourArte.   Before adding the butterflies, I stamped the bottom of my card and added the sentiment!

June DT Sketch Reveal For Turtle Soup

Today I am sharing my take on this months sketch for Turtle Soup.  I started off with BEv's Sketch and then added some white letters for my title.  I inked up the letters with distress ink to change their colors.  I added some cream flowers that I added some Twinkling H2O's from ColourArte to the flower centers and leaves and then added some dew drops from the Robin's Nest to the center of the Flowers.  On the background I used some ColourArte Radiant Gels and a Sin City Stencil (pattern #2) .

Mountain Goats

Today I am sharing this project I created using the #307 Kreaxions punch and the C punch positioning part  and the Kreaxions Circle Cutter. I started off by punching the corners of two 6 inch square with the #307 and the C insert. I cut out some circle to place behind some of the punched corners to really highlight the punchouts.  I then added some tissue over the right side of my layout.  I spritzed my background with glimmer mist in khaki and tiger lily and then added my matted photos. I topped it off with a tag and some little embellishments. The Wood birdies I painted with Twinkling H2Os from ColourArte.  Hope you enjoyed this project!

The Robin's Nest DT Call

Today I am sharing a layout I created for The Robin's Nest Design Team Call.  I have always loved The Robin's Nest Products. They have a great online store at  http://robinsnest-scrap.com/  By the time I found there call, there was not enough time for me to order and  they are currently hard to find locally as there is not a scrapbook store within 50 miles of my house.  I have used up any and all of their products that I did have except for  a few dew drops I have been saving.  So for my creation I choose papers that had a similar style and "feel" to them.
