Sketches in Thyme Sketch Reveal

Today I am excited to share my take on this week's Sketch from Sketches in Thyme!  This one was a little outside my comfort zone  as it has a lot of white space!   But working outside your comfort zone is always a good thing!  This layout uses the brand new papers from Dare 2 B Artzy!

Hi Today I am sharing this fun layout from our Washington DC Trip. Jim and Alex had a blast playing "war" at Madame Tussard's Wax Museum! I created this layout using this week's sketch at Sketches In Thyme  . I used some Kaiser Craft papers on a corrugated background.

Hard Rock Cafe

Today I am Sharing my layout based on this week's Sketches in Thyme sketch.  I paired this sketch with some papers by Chickaniddy Crafts. To create the guitar, I die cut a guitar with my Cricut from my Everyday Paper Dolls cartridge and traced its outline and then adhered sequins to the outline.

Today I am sharing my take on this week's sketch at Sketches in Thyme.  I decided to stretch the sketch and create a 2 page layout!  I love the result!

How to use a mask for inking

Today I am sharing my take on this week's sketch for Sketches in Thyme!  I also used this sketch to create my challenge for Scrapping Turtle's Mini Crop .  The sketch called for 3 photos but I replace 2 of the photos with tags and then instead of added a circle,  I used a cicrle as a mask  and inked around the circle.  I then added faux stitching along the circle outline.

Bear Sighting!

Today I am sharing my take on this week's Sketches in Thyme Sketch with another Yellowstone trip picture!  We were so excited to watch this mama bear and her cub, we could "bearly" contain ourselves.  I loved the black and Kraft combo!

Sarah - 3 months

Today I am sharing my take on this week's Sketches in Thyme   sketch by Shawn.  I rotated this sketch to fit my photo.  Looking at this layout as I am writing this gets me a little teary eyed.  This baby girl graduates high school in just 5 days!  WOW TIME REALLY DOES FLY! I used my April kit from My Creative Scrapbook.  I love the colors and the elephant was a must as the "grown up" baby in this picture is crazy about elephants!

PLAY

Today I am sharing my take on this week's Sketches in Thyme   sketch by Shawn Lahr.  A you may remember I was so sad when Nuts about Sketches took a break from doing sketches.  So I decided to try out for another sketch team at Sketches in Thyme and made it !!!  When the was announced, I discovered Shawn was there and then I found out I was on her sketch team and got to continue playing with her sketches!!!!!!  This layout is another animal layout from Yellowstone.  I used some old Sass a Fras Lass stamps for the stitching and then added Sin City Stamps for the title.  I also played with a new toy modge podge melts here for the flower centers and the butterfly.

Sandhill Cranes in Yellowstone

Yep, I am still working my way through the pictures of our first Yellowstone trip!  As of this week I am officially 4 vacations behind including another trip to Yellowstone*grin*.  But I am almost done with this trip down to the animals we saw along the way.  This was a Sandhill  Crane that landed in a grassy area.  I used this week's Sketches in Thyme sketch (#144).  Hope you come and play with the sketches there super fun.
