Psychotic Ramblings from a Serial Scrapper AKA Craft Room Therapy

The August KNK kit came right after I had a health scare and needed to take care of me. In the kit is this awesome envelope and I got the Luxe addon stamps! YOU NEED them! :D This project was unlike anything project I have created before. A little messy, a little free style, lots of glimmer mist! And lots of journaling! So far I am meeting my "Journey" plans. havent hit the target weight yet but I am losing and feeling tons better! you can get the Kit and the stamps at KNK. I will be sharing many more kit creations very soon :D

Lately I am spending my time in the pool. I come home after work, make supper and into the pool we go! SO relaxing. I did manage a little card making over the weekend but the POOL kept calling my name....Chris.......Chris.....Chris..... so i answered :D I was working when they installed the pool so my daughters took pictures for me.. (they take less blurry pictures than my hubby :D ) but looking over the pictures I can tell they are teenagers and a pre-teenagers . there seem to be a few too many pictures of the young men installing the pool. I go for a follow Doctor appointment on Thursday. and I am still caffeine free and still eating right!!!!!! so hoping the Doctor is happy with me. My clothes are getting loose. if I meet my goal, When i meet my goal I will need to do some shopping!

Don't Jim and I look all ready for Buffett?? The concert was just awesome!!!! WOrth leaving CHA for. I have been playing around a little and actually did a two pager! me I havent done one in a while. I just seem to have trouble making them flow. But all the gals at KNK have inspired me. But I did it!:D I am hoping to try a few more in the future! and wahoo its is Friday! the last day of the work week! :D So weekend scrap time can finally happen! TTFN

Loved loved their product and Gerrianne at KNK has it all in stock!! and I heard their new line Rhythm shown above will be available soon! I picked up a few samples at CHA and here is a card I made using one. I added some Petaloo flowers to the swirls :D and Kaiser Craft rubons (all available at KNK) I cannot wait for my KNK order to arrive with more of these yummy papers :D On the home front much of our free time is being spent in our new pool! The kids would live in it if I let them!.

I really really really loved the Petaloo booth!!!! so many adorable projects and the flowers and butterflies!!!! gorgeous. just look for yourself!!!!!! I want it all :D and of course the highlight had to be finally meeting my cyber coffee buddy Jules it was amazing! here we are at the end of day one of CHA . Notice I am sporting my glasses. I lost a contact :( and now need new ones. ttfn

Here we all are! Sonia, Gerrianne, ME, Jules and Kip are seated and Pam, Monicam and Barb are standing! This was taken at the SEI party on Thursday night!!! what fun that was!!!! They have some awesome yummy new stuff coming out! I love this line. and they have matching to die for stamps!!!!!!!!!!!!!! My measley pictures do not do this line justice!! Stunning!!!! they have another new line out but you will have to wait to tomorrow for that! Today I am back to work. what a weekend CHA and Jimmy Buffett! and speaking of Jimmy what an awesome show he put on. I may have a few pics in the next few days but remember..... WHAT HAPPENS AT BUFFETT STAYS AT BUFFETT so there won't be too many pictures! :D TTFN

Well I am home from my short trip to CHA andwow!!!!! Wait til you see the peeks!!!!! It was awesome I got meet alot of people I have been emailing for a long time! the folks as Cosmo Cricket as always are awesome!!!!! and the new blackboard YUMMY! and Vicki Chrisman sooooooo super sweet in real life !!!!! just awesome! and my dear friends from KNK showed my the most awesome southern hospitality!!!! and sweet sweet Jules was the most awesome tour guide for CHA . since she and I only had one day we made a point to hit as much of the show as possible! and we did!!!! so awesome!! Some of my favorites included the new chatterbox, Mollie & Mac ( a new company), GCD (another awesome new company!), Black Market Paper Society (awesome you will be seeing more of their stuff showing up on here soon ;) ), and Tattered Angels ...the new glimmer mists!!!!!!! needless to say i was hyperventalating throughout that entire booth!!!!and Petaloo!!!! yummy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The bird loved the flower basket that I bought MOM for mothers day! SO much so that they decided to make a nest in it :D Beautiful. I love finding little miracles of creation in the world around me!... Well tommorrow I leave for a day at CHA and finally get to meet Jules, Gerrianne, Pam, Kip, Barb and so many others!!!!!! Can't wait. I am only spending Friday there because I need to get home cause Saturday is the Jimmy Buffett concert!!!!!!!!!Can't wait. We take a huge bus up and enjoy the day. He is playing at alpine valley!!!! ON a side note I am now two weeks being caffiene free and thinking I may have kicked that habit. Still trying to eat right and healthy and have even managed to drop a few pounds which makes me happy.!!!!! Have a great week in case you don't see me again til Monday :D

WAHoo The July SNR is up. I have 3 cards in there :D . Not sure if I have shared this layout or not. this is from last year's softball season. and our softball season is done .. Happy?? in a way yes as it really reaks havoc on the family eating schedules. sad?? yea becasue it is done for another year. But only mid July!!! and Pool is being deliverd today!!!!! and hopefully installed tomorrow. SO that should be fun. I had a busy creating weekend which was Great as I missed all last weekend due to being practically unconscious from the stuff they gave me for the blood pressure. (which by the way is going down :) ) But as usual I cannot share them just yet..

KNK's July Kit is soo yummy. I just loved the colors!!!!!! the layout below was inspired by looking at the photo and thinking of my grandparents and that we are all here (my family) because they fell in love! Finally I can share 2 of my kit layouts from KNK . I loved this kit. So elegant and awesome colors! I did add a few Kaiser Craft Flowers to cover some "oops" moments. and of course I am giving my Fiskars threadinf water punch a workout. BUt loved loved loved this kit. can't wait to share more. Gett this kit while you still can.. HERE . On the Health front... I am feeling better. Still no caffiene. Bottom line is I need to lose weight. eat healthier. exercise..and stay away from my caffiene!!!!!

I had a little health scare on thurs. Actually started tues. when during a routine exam they dicover my blood pressure was to high. they took me off tons of things including caffiene (NOT A PRETTY PICTURE as I was 8-10 cup a day caffiene girl!!!!) By thrus I just did not feel well. and the Blood pressure was very high so off to the ER. they gave my a shot of something and I fell asleep. THen sent me home with a prescription to lower the BP. the result is I have been literally sleeping for 3-4 days. this is the first day that I have made it without a nap and am actually thinking about scrapping! we'll see.. :D hope everyone had a great holiday !!!! and I am on day 4 with NO CAFFIENE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WAHOOO!!!!!

I made this card using some papers from Memories in Uniform . These papers are really cool. She has all sorts of papers and die cuts available. I made a few more but I can't share those just yet :) And don't forget to check out KNK July Kit.
