Wildlife Safari Thank You Card

This month the design team was challenged to create projects with a nature theme.  What's screams nature more than this gorgeous wildlife scene? I have had the  Wildlife Zebra Lion Giraffe Elephant Collage Scene Rubber Stamp  for a little while just waiting to be played with. THis month's theme was a perfect excuse to break it out and play! Blank Page Muse Supplies needed include:   Wildlife Zebra Lion Giraffe Elephant Collage Scene Rubber Stamp   Other supplies include: Watercolor paper, grey archival ink, distress inks, water brush , card stock, sentiment sticker Start by stamping your  Wildlife Zebra Lion Giraffe Elephant Collage Scene Rubber Stamp   onto the BACK SIDE of a piece a water color paper. The front side is more textured and if you stamp the front side a stamp this detail will look broken as you can see below.  Stamping on the back side will make blending the inks a little less easy but look at the image below! Playing along with D2BA Holiday Fun Challenge

Holiday Greetings!  This month I am playing along with Dare 2B Artzy's monthly Challrngr.  This month's theme is holiday fun.  I chose to combine D2BA HOLIDAY VILLAGE STAMP SET  with D2BA Snow Much Fun Paper Collection.  To create a pop-up effect, I used two card bases, trimming one to fiy my fussing cutting.  Start by trimming 1 card base in half and then cutting away part of the inside of card base.  Add your scene from  D2BA Snow Much Fun Paper Collection.   Trim around your scene.  Cover main card base with  D2BA Snow Much Fun Paper Collection  and adhere scene. Add stickles for accents. Stamp your greeting from   D2BA HOLIDAY VILLAGE STAMP SET  and mat.  Add to card to finish. I hope you are inspired to get artzy with your stamps!

Alice's look into wonderland

In Keeping with this month's Blank page Muse's Weird and Wonderful theme, I decided to create a Art Journal page. What is more weird and wonderful than the world of Alice in Wonderland? I truly believe its a world where anything can happen.  I chose to combine Blank Page Muse's Alice in Wonderland Characters Set 1 & Set 2 Art Rubber Stamps with Archival Inks and Glimmer Mist watercolor sprays.  I was inspired thinking that Alice was sneaking a peek down the rabbit hole which is why she is upside down.  Supplies  Blank Page Muse's Alice in Wonderland Characters Set 1  Art Rubber Stamps  Blank Page Muse's Alice in Wonderland Characters Set 2  Art Rubber Stamps  Blank Page Muse Classic Spark Rubber Stamp Set Watercolor paper Archival Inks Glimmer Mist Scrap Paper Start by tearing a piece of scrap paper to mask your paper.  Stamp Diamond background from  Blank Page Muse Classic Spark Rubber Stamp Set ...

Bible Verse Wallet Cards

Greetings!   I was recently asked to create decorations for a Ladies Day event at church.  The invitation had poppies on them and the organizer really wanted to bring in the poppy theme!   and I thought I can do that!  So I am sharing this  quick idea for using your Blank Page Muse stamps to create Bible Verse Pocket cards.  I was able to create about 110 of these in a few hours!  While the bible verse are from another set, they could be easily printed from your printer. Supplies Blank Page Muse Big Bold Blossoms Flowers & Sentiments Art Rubber Stamp Sheet Set by Daniella Hayes Archival Ink Watercolor Paper Kraft Card stock Distress Inks To create these in bulk, I started by pre-cutting my watercolor paper (3 3/4 x 2 3/4 inches) and Kraft Card stock mats (3 x 4). Stamp the poppy from  Blank Page Muse Big Bold Blossoms Flowers & Sentiments Art Rubber Stamp Sheet Set by Daniella Hayes  on both edge...

Happiness Blooms Watercolor Card

Greetings! I have been obsessed by watercolors lately as you will see by all my projects this month, as each features watercolors.  I just love that watercolors are a little messy and outside the lines! For today's project I chose to highlight two new Blank Page Muse stamp sets -  Happiness Blooms from Within words & Henna Floral Motif Decorative Art Rubber Stamp designed by Shaloo Webster and  Heart of Nature Butterflies Bees Art Rubber Stamps designed by Donna Gray Start by stamping the flower from  Heart of Nature Butterflies Bees Art Rubber Stamps designed by Donna Gra y repeatedly on watercolor paper. with archival ink.  Stamp butterfly on upper left corner.  Using a wet watercolor brush pick up distress ink to roughly color your flower petals.  Repeat with a darker ink color.  Paint flower centers.  Paint butterfly with blue and purple inks.  Stamp greeting from  Happiness Blooms from Within word...

Catch your Dream

Today I am sharing this stunning card inspired by the Coloring Book trend that is so popular now.  Whenever someone shows me a coloring book, I remind them that I am a stamper so I color all the time!!! Anyway I started off with the Dare 2B Artzy Dream Catcher Set and stamped the image repeatedly using a mask to project each image and then matted the background on black cardstock. I then stamped the dream catcher and feather on white cardstock and used my Marvey punch to punch out the die catcher, and fancy cut the feather.  I then colored the dream catcher using my Copic Markers (BG45,Y15, E33, R22). I added the stamped images and the stamped greeting to my card and topped it off with a bakers twine bow.
