May your Coffee be strong and your Mondays short!

IMG_0608

Greetings!  Today I am sharing this coffee card with you! This card was created for this month's Blog Hop at Coffee Loving Card Makers. To re-create this card start by cutting my Flower Power paper slightly smaller than my card base.  Add a large cardstock block across the center of my card. Stamp the coffee cup and greeting from the Dare 2B Artzy Perfect Blend Stamps set onto white cardstock. ( I originally stamped the steam, but my card went off in another direction and the steam did not get used. )

Cut the greeting into a banner shape.  Color the coffee cup with your favorite markers. I chose Spectrum Noir markers in TN 2, TN 3, and IB 1. Stamp cup wrap with coordinating greeting from the stamp set. Fussy cut your colored coffee mug.

Add your cup and banner greeting to the card base.  Accent cardstock with doodled stitches.  Hope you are inspired to get stamping and play along with the Blog Hop at Coffee Loving Card Makers.

Embossed Floral Greeting

chrispozzi_0444wm
I am so excited to share this card I created with the New Totally Tracy Spring into Life Stamp Set! To create this card I started with a 5 1/2 inch card base.  I cut 2 squares of grey cardstock ( 4 1/2 inch, 3 1/2 inch) and dry embossed the square with an embossing folder (Cuttlebug-Oxford). Adhere the larger square to the left side of your card. I then cut 2 squares from white cardstock (3 3/4 inch, 3 inch) and stamped the flower onto the 3 inch stamp using Dare 2B Arty's Totally Black Ink.  I then stamped the flower two more times onto white cardstock and fussy cut these 2 images, one using the full image and one using just the flower center petal.

I lightly colored my flower and flower pieces with a Distress Marker (Shaded Lilac)

I added the full image on top of the stamped square using dimensional tape and then added the center petal with dimensional adhesive tape.

I matted the dimensional stamped image onto the embossed grey cardstock and then matted again with the remaining white cardstock square. Adhere to card. Stamp you greeting and mat on grey cardstock and add to your card.  Add your ribbon bows and you are done! Here is a close up of the dimensions on this card.

Dare 2 B Artzy March Challenge

Greetings!  Today I am sharing my take on this months's Dare 2 B Artzy's Challenge.  We were challenged to use Lots of Layers.  When creating layouts with layers, I always struggle.  I don't want my layouts that will be going into a scrapbook to be too thick. This one has at least 9 layers without too much bulk!   Hop on over to the Dare 2 B Artzy blog to play along for a chance to win some awesome stamps!
