Hi all! Today I am sharing this beach-y card I created using Dare 2B Artzy's new Stamp Flip Flops Stamps set! My sister and I try to have lunch about once a week. What does that have to do with this card? Well, there is this little shop right near the Pub we hit for lunch and outside that shop they have these chairs! and they are red!!! So as soon as I saw this stamp set, I knew my chair HAD TO BE RED!!!!!!!!!
Anyway, I starting my using my Distress inks to create the "beach" and the "Ocean scene". I stamped my sentiment onto the scene and then matted my scene onto the Artzy Doodles paper. I stamped the chair using Dar 2B Artzy inks and fussy cut out my image! The starfish is created using my Modge Podge Molds and that tiny shell is a real shell.
Hope you are having a great summer!

D2BA recently
released 17 new stamp sets! and 6 Dies!
We are so excited to
share some fun projects with you, using some of the new stamps!!
Which is why we
decided to have a blog hop!
Our theme:
Relaxation
You should have arrived here from Tonya's Blog blog! If you haven't and would like to hop along with us, please go back to the Dare 2B Artzy Blog to start at the beginning!
Be sure to follow each blog and leave comments along the way for your chance at winning! We will randomly choose a winner from one of the blogs, so the more you comment, the more chances you have to win!!
Blog Hop will end Sunday evening at 7:00pm Central. We will then post a winner!!
So here is my take on our relaxation theme
To create this card I started by matting a piece of embossed card stock onto my patterned paper. I then stamped my greeting onto the patterned paper as used that base to matte the paper. I created a banner using coordinating papers. I added some jute and a bow. I then stamped my sail boat using Dare 2B Artzy's Totally Blank Inkand colored it with a combination of Copic and Spectrum Noir Markers (Y21, DR3, BGR3, IB1, BGR1, TB5 and the blender).
Then for extra fun I decided to stamp the envelope too! Just remember to put a piece a paper inside the envelop when you are "coloring" it to catch the marker "bleed" !

Lake Side Adventure
Hello! Today I would like to share my layout that I created using Dare 2 B Artzy's brand new On the Dock Stamp set! I was so excited to get my new stamps, I sat down and immediately did a bunch of sketches using the new sets! To create this layout I started by adding a background block using the Artzy Doodles paper. I then created a border strip by stamping the Lake Word block using the Paradise ink. I matted the stamped border using the coordinating Artzy Doodles paper. I added the photo mats to the background. I stamped the dock directly onto my layout, and stamped then fussy cut the oars. Both of these were colored with a combination of Copic (YR04, BG45) and Spectrum Noir (TN3, TN5, IB5) Markers. I created the title block by stamping the words Lake and then I snuck in the "adventure" stamp from another brand new set called Live Love Lake! I hope you are inspired to use stamps on you layouts as well as cards!
