using the Theme Christmas is Coming! For this month I decided to turn my

Into a
Gingerbread House! I admit to having
visions of this sugar-y fun idea dancing around in my brain since last
year! So here is my finished product and
a few hints and tricks.
Hints and tricks
· Use the “inside” of your home to create the gingerbread feel by folding the outside to the inside.
· Ink the edges of the cardboard to give a toasted look to your house.
· Stamps Candy Cane Shutters with the Stripes and Dots stamp
· Tear strips of Pretty in Pink and Pool Party Two-Tone card stock to create a layered roof
· Dress up your windows with Die cut greenery and bows with the Delicate Pines dies and the Christmas Greenery Dies
· Add Candy galore with die cuts from the Gingerbread Man dies- for extra sparkle die cut gum drops from Glimmer papers or dip edges in glitter
· Stamp trees from Ornamental Christmas stamps onto glimmer paper (HEAT SET so the die doesn’t smear like mine did)
· Drizzle glue onto roof and sprinkle with chucky glitter and add die cut gumdrops to your roof.
· Add a peppermint gem for your door knob
