Sweet Easter Card

IMG_5838wm

Greetings! Chris here and today I am super excited to share this sweet Easter Card I created. This vintage-y card features chipboard, lace, pearl, some pretty pink paint and a stencil. And it is no secret that I love stencils!    And the Clear Scraps 5 x 9 Grunge Brick Stencil is so fun to play with.  And you get two (2) designs in one stencil!  Bricks and lines. Don't let the word "grunge" scare you!  I used it to create this pretty elegant card!

I started by adding some pearly pink paint over my stencil onto watercolor Paper. Any thick paper would work, I just always use watercolor paper and have it handy!

Once your paint is dry, mat your stenciled background onto coordinating card stock and adhere to your card base. Look at how fun this stenciled image looks. I chose to use the stripes vertically but you could also use them horizontally.

I added 2 scraps of  layered lace onto my stenciled background to add more elegance to coordinate with my paper choices.

I then chose some pretty romantic collage style papers to cover my bunny from my Clear Scraps Bunnies Chipboard Embellishment

Adhere you pretty paper to you chipboard bunny. Add some pearls to "dress up" your little bunny. then adhere you bunny to you card.  Just look how adorable that bunny looks!

Finish your card with your choice of a stamped or die cut sentiment. I chose to add my die cut sentiment on to a banner and then mat the banner with coordinating cardstock.

I hope you enjoyed this project. For more inspiration check out Clear Scraps Social Media sites.
