Clear Scraps GrandKids Photo Frame

IMG_5784wm

Greetings! Today I am excited to share this adorable Desktop Photo Frame I create for my office using the Clear Scraps Grandkids Desktop Frame. I confess I did purchase this frame in advance of actually having grandchildren or photos to fill it.  Well I now have an adorable grandbaby to feature in the frame, so I finally got to create with the Clear Scraps Grandkids Desktop Frame

To recreate this frame you will need:

Clear Scraps Grandkids Desktop Frame

Paint (black, red)

Patterned papers

Mod Podge or similar adhesive/sealant

I started by tracing all my letters and the heart onto patterned papers.  Remember to flip the letters  if you are tracing onto the back side of the papers. The letter G here is traced in reserved because this is the backside of my paper.

Trace and cut out all letters and your heart.  Ink the edges of your papers and set aside.

Gather your paints and paint the frame bases and any portions of the frame that will not be covered by your papers. Let your paint dry.

Once dry begin adhering your patterned papers to your frame. Lay out your letters first so your can determine which letters will overlapp the other letters.

Continue adding all your letters.

To allow me to change out my photos as my grandbaby grows, I added thin magnets to the frame and the heart.

Now I just have to lift up my heart and switch out the photo! Easy as pie! I can't wait to show off my Clear Scraps Grandkids Desktop Frame  in my office!

I hope you enjoyed this project. For more inspiration check out Clear Scraps Social Media sites.
