Creating your Circus Come One Come All Home Decor

Creating your Frame

Cover the top layer of your shadow box frame with red papers from your 12"x12" Patterns & Solids paper pad. Set aside.
Create your Tent top by Cutting a strip from chipboard approximately 2 1/2 inches tall. (this includes the narrow band that will fit behind the front of your shadow box. Free style cut edges of your ā€œtent Topā€.
Cover your ā€œtent Topā€™ with Patterned papers.
Punch scalloped border and add to top of your tent top. Add punched bows to your tent top. Set aside.

Working on your Shadow Box

Start by selecting your Journal cards that your want to highlight in your shadow box. Once decided set aside as you will work on one ā€œblock at a timeā€
Cover the back of your shadow box with black paper from your kit.
I found it helpful to mark the frame locations in pencil on my background to use as a guide. Cut your journal card to fit your frame area.
Adherer to your background.
Continue working each section as desired. Detail cut your journal cards as desired.
Add embellishment stickers, ephemera and scraps of patterned papers as desired.
Be sure to allow a little of the background to show in most of the frames to give your inal project a uniform look.
Add gemstones and Die Cut & Tag embellishments and Decorative stickers as desired. Add stickles onto dresses. Add layers of your shadow box.
Adhere Chipboard tent top behind front of frame and add onto your shadow box frame.
Add your frame cover onto your shadow box. Add additional bows with gems to your tent top to finish your project!
I hope you are inspired to play with this amazing kit!
