Stenciled Forest Greeting

I love playing with Stencils!   And I love playing with inks!  This card allowed my to play with both! Clear Scraps has some amazing stencils and I decided to combine a few to create this beautiful card!

This Card features
other supplies
Watercolor paper, distress inks, greeting sentiment, embossing inks and powder

Start by securing and inking your Clear Scraps 4x6 Sunrise Stencil with distress inks onto watercolor paper.  Be sure to leave room at the bottom for your trees.
Begin inking Clear Scraps 5 x 9 Mountain Scene Layering Stencil.  I used 3 differnt green inks and moved my stencil along the bottom of card, filling in any gaps with ink.

You can see how I moved the stencil, and even a few gaps left behind.

Here I moved the stencil to "cover" those gaps with more trees.
Continue moving your stencil to cover the bottom of card.
Here is a close up of the stenciled piece.

Stamp sentiment at top of card, then mat on card stock and add to card base.

 Coat chipboard with Embossing ink.
Cover with Embossing powder and heat emboss.
 Just look at that shine!
Add embossed butterfly to card to finish!   I hope you are inspired to stenciling on your cards!.
