Field Notes Mixed media Canvas

Greetings! Today I am excited to share this mixed media canvas I created using my favorite ScraPerfect products.  I am really amazed at all the uses for my Best Glue Ever!

You will need the following supplies to recreate this project
 Other supplies
8x8 canvas, foam craft sheet, butterfly die cuts, floral sprig, paper doily, printed tissue paper, chipboard sentiment, distress ink

Gather all your supplies. Please ignore the well loved and use look of my Best Glue Ever!  This glue lasts a very long time.  I have been using it for all my projects for 18 months and have only used 1 1/2 bottles.  SO.... my glue bottle tends to look very well loved!
Add Best Glue Ever!  to your canvas.  Spread across canvas with a slightly damp brush. Let dry slightly.

Be cautious if you use too much water (like I did) you may have to add a few extra drops of glue. Add your tissue paper.

Turn canvas over and adhere edges to back of canvas.
Now at this point your hands may be a little sticky.  Spritz your hands with ScraPerfect's Best Cleaner Ever for a quick clean up!
Ink your canvas with distress inks.

Adhere paper doily to lower right corner and trim. Your can see the the No-Clog Writing Cap allows you to add just a tiny bit of glue and is perfect for the delicate lacy paper doily.

Create your own pop-up dimensional adhesive by cutting small strips of craft foam and adhering to your die cuts.  (note: I gently folded each butterfly to add more dimension.

Add your butterflies to the canvas.

Adhere your floral sprig and "title" chipboard to canvas.

Look at the dimension created using those homemade foam dots.
I hope you are inspired to get creative with your favorite ScraPerfect products!
