Foiled Easter Greetings

Easter Greetings from here in Illinois.  As Illinois is under a Stay at Home Order, I won't be seeing some of my family this year even though we live only a few miles apart. So I decided I would create some Easter cards to send out my love!

Start by adding cutting and adhering textured card stock to your card base using ScraPerfect's Best Glue Everā„¢ with ScraPerfect's No-Clog Writing Capā„¢. You can see that the ScraPerfect's No-Clog Writing Capā„¢ allows you to apply just a small amount of ScraPerfect's Best Glue Everā„¢.  You need just a little bit to adhere your pieces. Seriously I have been using ScraPerfect's Best Glue Everā„¢ for just over a year and am still on my second bottle!  and I average 10-15 projects a month!

I used a card panel from patterned paper for the focal point of my card. I felt it was a little plain so I wanted to add some vintage looking foiling.  I added  a few drops of the ScraPerfect's Best Glue Everā„¢ with ScraPerfect's No-Clog Writing Capā„¢ onto the flowers on my papers.  Now this is the hard part, let the glue dry until clear.  It won't take long using the small amount but you have to wait.

Once Dry add Designer Transfer Foils rub and quickly remove. Repeat for each color of foil used.

Add doily to card base using ScraPerfect's Best Glue Everā„¢ with ScraPerfect's No-Clog Writing Capā„¢.

Add Foiled panel to card.
Finish card by adding a dallop of ScraPerfect's Best Glue Everā„¢ with ScraPerfect's No-Clog Writing Capā„¢.  Let the glue dry slightly to make adding your bow super easy.

Add paper flower accent to finish. I hope you are inspired to get creative with your supplies.

Great idea, Chris. I just sent off a series of Easter cards that would have been perfect for this technique...there's always next year (and other floral scene cards!) tfs-stay safe.
