Let's Go to the Beach Blank Page Muse Challenge

Greetings! Today I am excited to share my take on this month's Blank Page Muse Challenge.  This month we are challenged to use Embossing!  Be sure to Pop over to the Blog to check out all the wonderful creations by the rest of the team when the challenge goes live on the 10th!!!. Blank Page Muse Supplies Needed





Other Supplies

Distress Inks
Versamark Embossing Ink
Cardstock
Tim Holtz Sizzix House Dies



Die cut house and fence with Dies.

Fold Base and ink with Versamark embossing ink. Add Dirty Sand Embossing powder and heat emboss!  You will have to repeat this step to cover sides of base. Just Look at that Texture!!!!!

 

Fold stair and  cover with Versamark and Baked Texture Artist Embossing Powder by Seth Apter ; Emerald Creek ROCKY ROAD. Heat emboss. Repeat to cover stair. 

Ink house with Vistorian Velvet Distress ink and then Stamp boxes from Art Journaling Mixed Media Stamps Set 1. Assemble House. 




Ink the roofs with Antique Linen Distress Ink


Stamp grass roof with Tropical Dreams Flowers Flamingo Umbrella Beverage Cup Red Rubber Stamp Set  and Frayed Burlap Distress ink. I did fold roof in half to insure my grass was laying in the right direction. 


Add roofs to house and attach to base.  Add fences and free style create beach signs to finish!

I am having an Energy Crisis and Fun with Glimmer Mist

He Has energy and I don't. look at him full of energy ! ALways! But honestly the girls are always full of energy too! and Hoestly I wouldnt have it any other way. 2 blogs have inspired me Lately to try something new!!!! Pez a Doodle shares a techinique on creating Scrath and Sniff cards. What a fun card this would make for kids!! Even some Adults I know ! Cant wait to try this! I teamed up with JULES (see my blog roll on the left) to show off some creative ways to use Glimmer Mist for KNK . Here is some fun work with Glimmer Screens. Gerri-Anne Has all the supplies you need to create this available in the mall at KNK :D I love the glimmer screens which work much like a mask. Since the Glimmer Mist is a wetter medium than ink your screen must bes stuck down well to your project area. I used a stencil adhesive I got at Hobby Lobby.
