My Word for the Year

As a new member to the Canvas Corp Brands Creative Crew, I joined as many committees as I could.  I know always the overachiever!  But one of the main reasons I participate in Design Teams is to push myself.  The Fun and Games Committee groups is for helping with the monthly blog challenges.

For my word I choose SHINE.  I used to sit back and watch everything, content to be an observer.  Well SHINE is to remind me that i should be striving to stand out and SHINE! for all the world to see.  

For the challenge I choose to really step outside my boundries - first using mixed media and second using a color pallet that is way outside my comfort zone....pastels!!!! 

I used Tattered Angels Glimmer mist to re-color my Glass bead medium and my modeling paste.  

And did you see the stamps on there?  I stamped my Sequence Waste Stamp from Sin City Stamps using Tattered Angels Coal Chalkboard Mists!!!
