So excited to share

I am so excited to share my first reveal with Nuts about Sketches Design Team.  I am getting really hooked on sketches.  They are such a fun way to start your project.  I using my little touches to make the sketch reflect me and my style, or in some cases the style of the person in the picture.  For this layout I used the February kit from My Creative Sketches.  (remember I promised myself if I subscribed to a kit club, I had to actually *gulp* use the paper not just collect it)  I don't scrap much valentine-sy themed layout so I was a little concerned.  So, instead i used the bright colors to  coordinate with the bright colors of the musicials costumes.

wahoo!!!!!!

My Rosy Cheeks layout was one of this month's featured layouts at My Creative Scrapbook/My Creastive Sketches.  I had actually used their January Kit to complete the sketch.  So far i have completed 5 layouts with the kit and still have paper left.  But alas the February kit is here so working on that one.  I promised my self that the only way I was allowed to subscribe to a kit was if I used it. Off to create some more.  here is the layout they choose which a shared a week or so ago.  .

A Valentine's Day Mini Crop Challenge

Its mini crop time at Turtle Soup .  For my challenge I want you to scrap about something you love.  The something you love must be non-human.  Please join us in the forum :D I choose to scrap a picture of Meagan and Toby (one of our Beagles).  This picture was taken shortly after we adopted him.  You have until February 24th, at midnight EST, to post your project. Post it in the TS gallery, then link back to the forum!

Halloween in February???

I created this layout for a challenge last month at Turtle Soup!  It was a scraplift challenge.  I have been on a mission to use up lots of papers and embellishments that I have collected. This was Graphic 45's halloween line and a bunch of embellishments from years past.  That big spider web was cut from my CTMH Artbooking Cricut cartridge.

A quick Birthday Card

Been feeling quite under the weather lately.  It hit our entire family.  Which if you are a follwer should come as no surprise, we are a sharing family.  Once one gets it....we all do!  At least the kiddie that had mono did not share that with the rest of us :D Hope you all are getting some scrappy time!

Prairie dog colony

Its been a couple of days  since I posted since sadly I finally caught the illness that my family has been circulating.  Here is a layout I created using a older sketch from Nuts About Sketches .  I love that you all the sketches are sorted into the number of photos!  When I found the sketch I noticed that they also had a DT call going on so I figured I would submit this for their call!   Guess what?  I made it!  Sketches have been inspiring me so much lately!!
