Embossed Vellum Card

Hi Chris here and today I would like to share with you this embossed poinsettia card. To create this card I started by creating the card base with cardstock.  I then added the green cardstock and punched the border for some visual interest. I then added the Holly Days paper and the cut away strip from the Poinsettia paper as an accent. I then stamped the Poinsettia with Versamark and added white embossing powder. I filled in the center of the poinsettia with red Stickles. While that was drying I stamped and embossed my greeting. Here is a close up. To finish off the card I added some hand cut holly leaves.  Hope you are inspired to get stamping!

Poinsettia Wishes

Hi Chris here and I am so excited to share this adorable Christmas Card! I just love these new stamps and papers from Dare 2B Artzy! I started by matting my Holly Days paper onto coordinating card stock and attaching it to my card base. I then stamped my Poinsettia Tangle stamp onto a piece of dictionary paper with the Pomegranate ink. If you are an avid book person like me, and have a hard time tearing a page out a book I have a little hint for you.... go to your dollar store and buy a cheap dictionary...then you won't feel guilty for tearing out the pages. I then fussy cut the stamped image and matted onto the coordinating red card stock and then fussy cut the matted image.  I added some liquid pearls to the center of my poinsettia and added the flower to my card, tucking in a few die cut holly leaves. I then stamped my greeting and double matted the greeting into a banner and attached to the card.  I topped the poinsettia off with a coordinating ribbon bow. ...

Thanks- Paisley Style

Hi  today I would like to share my take on this month's challenge. To create this simple but stunning card I started by laying the stamps from my Paisley Bliss set out on my block. I then ink my stamps using my Wild Orchid Ink, and stamped onto white card stock, rotating my stamp block as needed to fill my background. I then cut the card stock into 3 pieces and matted onto a piece of coordinating card stock. and then placed the matted images onto my card base.  I created a simple banner greeting using letter stickers and topped off my card with a double ribbon bow, some netting and a rose. I really love how the finished card turned out.  Hope you are inspired to get creating! Chris Wild Orchid Paisley Bliss InLinkz.com

Dreams Come True

Hi!  Chris here and today I am sharing this adorable card I created using Dare 2B Artzy's new papers and Stamps! To create this card I started by matting 2 pieces of the Blissful Bloom paper (the A and B sides) onto dark blue card stock and then attached it to my card base.  I then stamped the Dream Catcher from the Dream Big Stamp Set onto white card stock.  I then used a scalloped circle punch to punch out the dream catcher and matted the scalloped circle on silver scalloped circle and then a dark blue scalloped circle. I added the scalloped circle onto the bottom of the card. I stamped my greeting from the Dream Big set and double matted the greeting onto the silver and then the blue card stock.  You can see how the tiny bit of silver really makes everything POP!   I finished off the card by adding a silver bow and a white paper flower.  I did use a Tim Holtz Distress Marker to tint the edges of the flower!   I hope you are inspired ...

Dare 2 B Artzy Modern Bliss Papers

Hi Chris here!  Today I would like to share a layout I created using the Brand New Dare 2B Artzy Stamps and papers! To create this layout I started by stamping the Flower from the Blissful Blooms stamp set using the Premium Midnight Blue ink.  I then created the "leaves" by stamping the Paisley from the Paisley Bliss stamp set. I fussy cut both the flowers and the leaves. I placed the matted photos onto my background which I created using the Modern Bliss papers - Botanical Breeze and Paisley. The thin blue polka dot strip is a bonus "cut away" strip on the Paisley paper.  After adding my stamped flowers and leaves as accents I created my title block using the "Beautiful" stamp from the Big Bloom Stamp set. Using my scraps I created this coordinating card using the Thinking of You stamp from the Blissful Blooms stamp set.  Hope you are inspired to get stamping!
