A Wedding card
Hi, it's Chris here today. Every year during the holidays I hear of new engagements. So I decided to get a jump start on the wedding season and create this wedding card! For this card I created the heart doily using punch #917 on a 4 inch circle cut with the Kreaxions cutter cutter. I then used the #917 punch again with the C insert to create a matching border. I then used 2 of the gold hearts leftover from the punchouts inside the card.

Look at those trees
While in Yellowstone I was amazed by all the trees, alive and dead. I love looking at the dead trees showing evidence of all the hot spots moving around. You can see live trees right on the edges of the pools, then the hot spot shift just a tiny bit and kills off those trees. For this layout I use this week's Nuts about Sketches sketch #349 and of course my Kreaxions circle cutter.

Santa is Coming to Town
I am here today sharing this Santa card! To create this card I matted the stamped image on cardstock using my Kreaxions circle cutter. I then palced the matted image on doily I created using the Kreaxions Star Template and Punch # 914 with the "A" positioning parts. I just love how the doily turned out!

I was Here
Here is the proof that I actually go on vacations with my family. So often I forget to hand over my camera to make sure I am in the pictures too. AS you can see in the photos, I am still with my camera, but my hubby managed to snap a few shots of me :D . I remember this day, it started out warm and then the temperature drop very rapidly. Just look at how windy it was--my hair is standing straight out!!. For this layout I used this week's Nuts about Sketches #347, my Kreaxions circle cutter, I really love that tool, and some MME Market Street papers from a My Creative Scrapbook kit.

More Yellowstone Hot Spots
For this layout I used Sketch #346 from Nuts about Sketches. I love how many photos there were in the sketch! Absolutely perfect for my vacation photos! Here I added a lot of miscellaneous hot spots in the geyser basins. I love how you can see the steam rolling off these! You may notice I used my handy Kreaxions circle cutter again. I love how that little tool cuts circles within circles!

Just Imagine Blog Hop
Welcome to Just Imagine's December Blog Hop. If you came here from Joan's blog, then you are in the right spot. If you are starting here, be sure to start at the beginning so you don't miss out on any inspiration from these very talented ladies.
For my project I made this lovely Christmas ornament. I started with thick glittery paper and used the Just Imagine/Kreaxions circle cutter to cut out the circles. I then used Just Imagine/Kreaxions template to mark my punch guideline and used Punch #312 (Snowflake) on the interior and exterior taking care to line up my flakes. I repeated this 4 times, then folded each circle in half and attached it to another circle. I used some fishing line, glued in place with some clear snowflakes I had in my stash.
Now be sure to hop on over to the next blog for some more inspiration.

Important Lesson
I couldn't help but record one of the most important lessons we learned while in Yellowstone. There is a reason people carry backpacks with them. The weather can change very quickly!!! We started out walking the loop around Old Faithful with it being sunny and warm and wearing shorts, only to have a cold front and rain move through half way through the walk and spend the rest of the walk freezing and wet. Needless to say we never made that mistake again. I used this week's sketch at Nuts about Sketches. (#344) and some old Dream Street papers from my stash! I also used my Kreaxions circle cutter!

At the Patch
Hi it's Chris here today sharing this fun layout of my kiddies at the pumpkin patch a few years ago. For this layout I used the #903 punch with the "A" positioning parts to create the punched boarder around the photos. I backed the punched border with a contracting color to help the border "pop". I then added the sunflowers using Bountiful Sunflower Poppy Dies (# 1006). I love how the Kraft paper and the greens and golds paired with the punch and dies give this a nice "fall" look.

Crash your Stash of supplies
Today at Turtle Soup I am challenging all you scrapper to actually use your stash of scraps or 6x6 paper pads. This layout is created using a 6x6 paper pad I had. Every one of those little hexagons is punched out :D
I used this awesome sketch by Bev!
Hope you decide to play along with us at Turtle Soup.

# 17
I am loving the metallic trend that is going on right now! For this layout, I started off with this week's sketch at Nuts about Sketches (# 343). Normally I use both sides of the sketch and create a 2 page layout, but this time I only used the left side of the sketch. I used one of my My Creative Scrapbook kits to make paper and embellishment coordination super easy!

Perfect circle cutting and matting
Today I am sharing this cool layout using the Kreaxions Circle cutter and Punch # 919 (with the positioning parts "A"). I used this week's sketch at Nuts about Sketches, which used matted cirles. I have always struggled getting perfectly matted circles. Then it hit me. the circle cutter is perfect for creating matted circles too! I first cut the circle using the 5 inch mark. I then moved the mark to 5 inches plus 1 "tick" on the ruler (which would be 5 1/4). and presto a perfectly matted circle! I then matted that circle again moving up one more "tick" to 5 1/2 inches. So super easy! To finish off the layout I added more circles and then punched the border using #919 and the "A" insert.

Nightmare on our Street
Its no secret that Halloween is big at our house! I created this layout for this month's Design Team reveal at Just Imagine/Kreaxions. I used the Kreaxions circle cutter and the #310 punch with the "A" circle template to create the doily. I love the look of the black doily!! So do you decorate for Halloween??

Riverside Geyser
I created this layout using this week's sketch from Nuts about Sketches (#341). I even hand sewed on the layout! Something I haven't done in a long time! I use the circle wreath on the paper as the circle on the sketch! I love it when the paper does the work for me! Do you use sketches? What do you look for in a sketch?

Happy Birthday from One Old Crow to Another
I created this cute birthday card created using the Kreaxions circle cutter and #903 punch. To create this doily I used the Kreaxions circle cutter to cut a 12 cm circle and then cut a 5.6 cm circle out from the center of that circle. I then used the circle stencils to mark the punching lines. I punched the inside of the circle first using the positioning parts. After punching the outside of the circle, I backed the doily with a contrasting color to help the flowers "pop".
Products Used:
Tim Holtz Embossing Folder, Clear Dollar Stamp Stamps
Kreaxions Circle Cutter
Circle positioning Parts
903 Punch

Our Time- Kreaxions and NAS reveal
Check out this super fun layout of me (that's right I actually have a picture of me on a layout!) and my son. For this layout, I used this week's Sketch from Nuts about Sketches! The sketch called for lots of circles which were a breeze to cut out with the kreaxions Circle Cutter! I thought the half circle at the top of the layout looked a little plain, so I "dressed" it up a bit but using the circle templates and the 903 punch. I then added the doily behind the flower using the star template and the 903 punch with the "A" inserts.
Products used:
Nuts about Sketches Sketch 339
Fancy Pants Burlap and Bows
Kreaxions #903 (alone and with "A" inserts)
Kreaxions Circle Cutter
Kreaxions Star template
Kreaxions Circle Stencils

Morning Glory Pool
Love the sketches from Nuts about Sketches. I love how Shawn incorporates multiple photos on each sketch! This weeks sketch (#336) included room for 5 pictures on a 1 page layout! I switched out 2 of the photos for journaling blocks and of course still working on the Yellowstone trip album from 2012. Hmmm that leaves me Yellowstone 2013, Washington DC 2013, Daulphin Island 2014 to do.... better get scrapping!

Just kreaxions DT reveal
I created this super cute card for this month's Just Imagine DT Reveal. I used the star template with the #919 punch to create the doily. I then used the Kreaxions circle cutter to cut out the inside of the doily. I traced the oval stencil to add as a backdrop for the card sentiment. I used the leftover from punching a border with the #919 punch and then added 2 of the "crosses" from the punch to make the flower in the bottom right corner!

My First Creations with Kreaxion Punches!!
Hi it's Chris here sharing my first creation with Kreaxion punches! I love how easy it was to create the border for the photo strip using the #919 punch! For the medallion, I created 2 long border strips using #903 punch and then accordian folded the strips to add that "ruffle" effect. I topped the medaliion with a circle cut with the Kreaxions circle cutter.
