Floral Thinking of You Card

Hello! Today I am excited to share this cheerful, quick and easy card I created!  Just a little bit of stamping and embossing and gluing and you are set to go.  perfect for those last minute cards!  Start by pouncing your Perfect Crafting Pouch over paper and stamping your sentiment and adding embossing powder.  The  Perfect Crafting Pouch   helps to reduce the static so you don't have lots of stray embossing flecks! Cover chipboard with embossing ink and powder and heat emboss. Using your Best Glue Ever adhere chipboard to card base.  Add leaf and flower to card to finish.  I just love how my Best Glue Ever adheres anything from chipboard to fabric-y leaves to large paper flowers!  I hope you are inspired to get crafty with your ScraPerfect products!

An Apple for the Teacher

This year we all learned that teachers are very adaptable.  Teaching from home for month's with very little notice.  I created this shaker magnet for my daughter's classroom!  Whether it is at her school or in her kitchen!  This shaker was made using the brand new Apple Shaker from Clear Scraps.     Start by tracing the apple to give you a stamping background for the inside of your shaker box.   Paint your shaker as desired and let dry.  Stamp sentiment.  I chose Dare 2B Artzy Heart of a Teacher stamp set. Assemble your shaker and fill as desired.   Add magnet to the back to finish.  I hope you are inspired to get creative with your shaker boxes and check out all the new items at Clear Scraps.

Christmas in July

This post is a little bittersweet, as it is my last post with Dare 2B Artzy (for now). I have been with the team since it the 1st team in 2016! and have a lot of great projects and memories.  Sadly my job has taken a lot of my time and I felt I could not give the team the time it deserved. Let's just say working in public health in a pandemic is time consuming! But I love Dare 2B Artzy and hope to play along in the Facebook Group.  And now.... on to the show!  I decided to create a little Christmas in July using the adorable Christmas Puppy and Coordinating Die Set.  Start by Stamping your puppy and sentiment onto watercolor paper.                                              Die Cut puppy.  Color puppy as desired.  I chose Distress markers.    Add stickles to jungle bells. Mat FROSTY CHALET PAPER  and sentiment onto cardstock a...

Take Time to Get Away

Summer Greetings!   Today I am excited to share this beach-y watercolor greeting I created with distress inks.   The Sentiment I used is to remind myself and the person I was making the card for to take time to get away during these trying times. Christmas Greetings!   That's right! it is never too early to start creating Christmas Cards!  Well maybe December 26th is a little early, but then again why not start when you are in the spirit!   This card feature the BRAND NEW JOY Shaker from Clear Scraps.    Be sure to hop on over to their store to check out all the new goodies!  To create my card background, I applied distress inks over the Clear Scraps 6" Quarterfoil Stencil.    (Hints you can use painter's tape to hold your stencil in place while inking!  Just look at that gorgeous background!  Mat background on to gold glitter paper and add to card base. Punch circle to fit inside of shaker and stamp your greeting.  To decorate my shaker, I covered the shaker with embossing ink and then added embossing powders.  Add stamped greeting and assemble shaker.  Add your finished shaker to your background to finish car...
