Creating a Funny Masculine Card

Greetings! Today I am excited to share this funny masculine card I created for my dad's birthday!  As the oldest daughter of an avid fisherman (with no sons), my dad and I spent lots of time fishing over the years.  While we don't get to fish together as much as we use to, I know he will love this card.  because what else do kids do but wait for dad to find the fish and then steal their spot!   To create this card I paired the Fishing Spot stamp set from I Brake for Stamps with papers from  the  Cyan Consortium 6x6 inch sheets Paper Pack designed by Pam Bray .   After stamping my image onto stamping paper, I colored my images with watercolor markers and a water brush. You can see below how the image comes to life.  I matted the colored stamping and sentiment onto my Cyan Papers  . I then cover my card base with a map tissue paper.   I added a scrap of burlap and then layered my images to complete my card.  I hope you...

Colorful Watercolor Card

Greetings!  Today I am super excited to share this colorful card I created using the Numbers and Flower stamp sheet from I Brake for Stamps.  This set is so pretty and has so many possibilities. Numbers, flowers and butterflies Oh my!  I really wanted the flowers to be my focus of my card, so after stamping my image onto my card,  I heat embossed it using clear embossing powder.  I then spread distress inks on my table and placed my stamped image on top of the inks.  I did add some water to help the inks move around and blend!   You can see how the image just pops off the page.  To finish my card I matted the stamped image onto coordinating paper and added a simple greeting.  I hope you are inspired to get creative with your stamps and papers from Blank Page Muse and I Brake For Stamps.  Don't forget to use my discount code BPMChris.    Be sure to follow us at  The Blank Page Muse-  https://blankpagemuse.c...

Masculine Birthday Card Set

Greetings!  Today I am excited to share this so cute greeting card set I created using I Brake for Stamps Take Time to Relax Stamp.   My dad is an avid fisherman and I love to collect and create using fishing themed stamp sets. And the  T ake Time to Relax Stamp  is perfect for using as is or coloring to your hearts desire.  You can see how cute the stamp is. And it is easy to color too!  For my first card I used watercolor markers and a water pen to color my image; and then die cut a window from coordinating card stock to frame the image. I added a few clear gem drops to add to the water-y feel!  I then used the die cut window left over from the first card as the stamp background to create another quick card, as I always seem to run out of masculine cards first!  I hope you are inspired to get creative with your stamps and papers from Blank Page Muse and I Brake For Stamps.  Don't forget to use my discount code BPMChris.  ...
