Creating a Layered Thank You Card

In keeping with this month's #ScraPerfectgetsdowntoEarth theme, I created this cheery layered card to send to a friend!   This card is starts with a shiny gold card stock.  In the past, most of my adhesives didn't work well with this card stock. But adhering to shiny card stock is no problem for  ScraPerfect’s Best Glue Ever with No Clog Writing Cap .  Add your adhesive the the shiny mat and adhere your card stock. Using your  ScraPerfect’s Best Glue Ever with No Clog Writing Cap  add your patterned paper.  I really wanted to add more gold accents,  so I decided to add  ScraPerfect’s Transfer Foils .  Add your  ScraPerfect’s Best Glue Ever  and let it dry until it is clear. Lay foil onto clear adhesive and lift to add foil.  Lay foil onto clear adhesive and lift to add foil.  Layer your tag and add to your card.  Add sentiment to finish your card.  I hope you are inspired to get creative with y...

Queen of Hearts Art Journal Page

One of my goals this year was to create projects for an art journal.  This project features two Clear Scraps Stencils and Clear Scraps Chipboard.  Creating the Background Using the Clear Scraps 4x6 Brick Wall stencil , apply gold ink along edges of black card stock.  Move stencil down and around page to create a full border.  Add stenciled bricks to top and bottom of your background.  Secure  the Clear Scraps 6  inch Diamond Heart Stencil to a piece of Bristol Board paper ( you could also use mixed media papers) .  Apply distress inks through stencil. Cut apart a crown from the Clear Scraps Crowns Chipboard.  Coat  Clear Scraps Crowns Chipboard  with embossing ink and add gold embossing powder and heat emboss.  Stamp a focal point stamp over your stenciled heart. I of course chose an Alice in Wonderland themed stamp.  Border punch top of your page and add matted sticker sentiment. Mat onto red card stock and then o...
