Stamped Gold LOVE Card

Greetings !  I am here today sharing this quick and easy card I created using Blank Page Muse's Love Faith & Family Vintage Art Rubber Stamp Set.    I admit I was on a vintage kick when I created this card. I also admit to being a little inspired by Willy Wonka and those MAGIC Golden Tickets!  This card was a lot about what happens if I try this?   I had scraps of gold shiny card stock and white shimmer ink on my desk (because I never clean up!!!! but rather move the piles around until I am all done!  It pretty rare that my card require so little "steps" to finish!  But the impact of stamping on the gold shiny card stock was just "WOW!"  Supplies needed to recreate this card include: Blank Page Muse's Love Faith & Family Vintage Art Rubber Stamp Set.  Shiny Gold Card stock Tsukineko Brilliance Pigment Inkpad, Matte Moonlight White patterned paper, paper doily, flowers Card base Stamp LOVE from the  Blank Pag...

Lucky Gnome Shaker

I just love that gnomes are so popular right now. And I just knew I wanted to create a "Lucky" Mini Shaker Gnome!   I am going to add a magnet to him and either use him on my filing cabinet at work (where I seem to spend too much time) or on my fridge! Supplies needed include: Clear Scraps Mini Shaker Gnome Patterned Paper, Glitter, Paint, Clover Punch Start by tracing your shaker base onto patterned paper. Detail cut your paper gnome but don't adhere just yet. Paint shoes on your shaker base.  Paint your shaker top piece to coordinate using an orange beard of course. Let dry.  Using a layer piece from your shaker set, trace beard onto your base and paint orange.  Adhere your painted paper gnome to your shaker base.  Assemble the pieces of your shaker.  Filler with coordinating glitter or sequins.  Add your acrylic layer after removing the protective covering from both sides of the acrylic.  Add your painted top layer to your shaker and add a...

Happy Valentines Day Card

Last year I taught my first card making "get together" for the ladies at my church.  Of course this was BC.... Before Covid! Using the  No Clog Writing Tip   allows you to add just a small amount of glue, and that is all you need! Add paper to card base.  Create your embellishment by adhering punched pieces.   Add tag and jute bow to finish the embellishment cluste. I love that  ScraPerfect's Best Glue Ever  with  No Clog Writing Tip   is the only glue I need to ...

Acrylic Valentine's Day Card

I love using acrylic in my cards!  For today's project I wanted to really play up on the transparent-ness of the acrylic and try stamping an image for accents on my acrylic and to add extra dimensions to my card. This is definitely a quick and easy project which I love this time of year as I always seem to be needing lots of last minute cards!  Supplies needed Clears Scraps 12 x 12 Acrylic Sheet Stamps, Ink (staz-on and archival), patterned Paper, Doilies, Card Stock, Card Base, lace Start by trimming your card base front so that you have about a 1/2 inch left as shown.  Trim your  Clears Scraps 12 x 12 Acrylic Sheet  to fit your card base. Remove protective layer off  one side of your acrylic (I always leave the protective layer on my back side until I  am done creating!)  Stamp heart repeatedly onto acrylic. I choose a simpler stamp and used extra magnets (just in case) on my stamping platform.  I just love how you can see through the...

Shaker Box Gift bag

Today I am super excited to share this quick and easy Valentine's Day gift bag I created using my Mini Love Shaker from Clear Scraps . This time of year I seem to always be running to the store for gift bags. So, this year I decided to create my own! This project is so quick and easy. You just need enough time for your paint to dry!  Start by painting your  Mini Love Shaker from Clear Scraps  base and top layer. I suggest starting with white an letting it dry before adding the red  I chose to paint my heart red, but if this is a gift bag for a specific cause you could paint the heart to match - such as pink for breast cancer! Once your paint is dry, begin assembling your shaker.  Add glitter and fillers! Then adhere your acrylic piece (DON'T Forget to recover the protective covering from both sides! )   Add your top layer then adhere your shaker to two paper doilies as shown and attach to your bag! Just thinking here, this would also make a grea...
