Psychotic Ramblings from a Serial Scrapper AKA Craft Room Therapy

  Greetings!   Today I am excited to share this Winter-y Wonderland tag I created using some of my favorite Clear Scraps Products! Tags are always a great way to dress up any gift and this one is fun to create! Supplies needed  Clear Scraps 12 x 12 Clear Acrylic Sheet Clear Scraps 5 x 9 Mountain Scene Layering Stencil Clear Scraps Mini Mitten Shaker patterned paper, sequins & glitter, paint, Jute, Snowflake punch, Tag, pom pom trim  Start by covering your base tag with patterned paper.   Trace tag onto  Clear Scraps 12 x 12 Clear Acrylic Sheet  and cut out.  Lay  Clear Scraps 5 x 9 Mountain Scene Layering Stencil  over clear tag.  Be sure to remove protective coating from the side you will be painting first! ( a little hint...leave protective coating on back side of tag until you are done painting to avoid mishaps! ) Paint trees and snowflakes onto clear cut acrylic tag and let dry.  Add large snowflake ...

  I was so excited to see this new addition to the Blank Page Muse Stamp Collection.  Living in the midwest, I am always in awe of the seeing the desert...especially in bloom!  So I was excited to  get to stamp and color these images! Today I am excited to share this holiday tag I created with my favorite ScraPerfect Supplies.   I have always loved the look of gingerbread houses! and when I saw the Clear Scraps DIY Medium House Pallet    I knew I wanted to create my own gingerbread house... and this one has NO calories!  To create your own Gingerbread pallet you will need the following:  Clear Scraps DIY Medium House Pallet  Clear Scraps Candy Canes Chipboard Embellishments Paint- brown (gingerbread-y color), red, green White Marker Ball Fringe Jute- white  Green card stock Leaf punch Paint the  Clear Scraps DIY Medium House Pallet   with brown paint. Let dry.  While drying paint  Clear Scraps Candy Canes Chipboard Embellishments  with red and green paint. Let dry.  Using a white marker, draw on windows and doors and roofing as desired. Add jute bow and ball trim to your pallet.  Add your dry  Clear Scraps Candy Canes Chipboard Embellishments  to your house.  Punch leaves from green card stock and add...

  It is that time of year again where I love making handmade Christmas items. From cards to tags to ornaments.  Growing up our tree was always adorned with  handmade and sentimental ornaments.  I carried this tradition on with our family tree. today I am excited to share this ornament I created! To recreate this ornament your will need Ornament Jar Cotton Balls jute Assorted embellishments ScraPerfect's Best Glue Ever Here is an example of different fillers you could use for your ornament. Start by add  ScraPerfect's Best Glue Ever  to base of ornament.  Add cotton from cotton balls.  (I pulled the cotton balls apart to make them more fluffy.) Leave a small area in center open for your snowman.  Add your snowman to base using  ScraPerfect's Best Glue Ever . Add glitter if desired and add ornament topper. Tie bow with jute and attach to ornament. Remember, add just a few drops of your  ScraPerfect's Best Glue Ever , and let dry sligh...

 Greetings!  Today I am excited to share another Quick and Easy Clear Acrylic sign I created with my Clear Scraps 12 x 12 Acrylic sheet .  Creating these signs is so easy and addicting!  I think you will a few more in  the future.  Maybe one for each season!  To recreate this project you will need: Clear Scraps 12 x 12 Acrylic sheets Clear Scraps 5 x 9 Mountain Scene Layering Stencil Clear Scraps Believe Chipboard Word Title Paint  Cut your  Clear Scraps 12 x 12 Acrylic sheet  to the desired size.  Remove protective covering from acrylic. (note: I always leave protective covering on the back until I am finished with project to protect from stray paint!)  Secure  Clear Scraps 5 x 9 Mountain Scene Layering Stencil  over Acrylic Sheet and Apply paint onto  Stencil .  (Note: I used a cotton ball to apply paint ) Carefully, remove stencil and let paint dry. Add white paint along base of acrylic....

Today I am excited to share my take on the annual Blank Page Muse Holiday Ornament Make and Share!  As my tree has lots of handmade ornaments from years past, I wanted to create an ornament that had a "homespun" feel! And what better way to do that that with a little bit of canvas!  Supplies needed: Blank Page Muse Penguins on Ice Winter Holiday Rubber Stamp Set  Canvas Square, Archival Ink, Tombow Water Color markers, White Paint Pen, Jute, Jingle Bell Start by stamping your penguin from  Blank Page Muse Penguins on Ice Winter Holiday Rubber Stamp Set   onto your canvas.  Use your water color markers to color your image as desired.  Once finished with your coloring, use a white paint pen to add snow to your image.  Add a jute tie and bow and jingle bell to finish your ornament.  Be sure to HOP on over to the Blank Page Muse Blog to check out more ornaments.
