Romantic Pillow Box

Greetings!  Today I am excited to share this adorable pillow box I created with ScraPerfect!  I started by cutting my pillow box pattern from patterned paper.  Fold your pillow box and add ScraPerfect's Best Glue Ever.   The No-clog Writing tip allows you to add just a perfect amount of glue.  Fold and finish assembling your pillow box. Create your own embellishments to accent your pillow box.  Your can see that ScraPerfect's Embellie Gellie makes it so simple to add those little bits to your projects! Add a pounce from your ScraPerfect Perfect Crafting Pouch to remove unwanted stickiness from your stickers.   Attach a bow with  ScraPerfect's Best Glue Ever. . Add the finished embellishment to your pillow box. I hope you are inspired to get creative with your ScraPerfect Products!

Creating a Patchwork Bunny Pallet

Greetings!   I just love this new Bunny Pallet from Clear Scraps.   My first project for Clear Scraps was this DIY Bunny Pallet Last Year.   So when I got this new bunny with the floppy ear I immediately started thinking patchwork.  So I reached into my paper stash and started cutting "patches" from my patterned paper. I drew a "plumb" line to make sure my first row was straight and then started laying down my patches.  I used mod podge to adhere the individual pieces. I kept laying down pieces until the entire pallet was covered.  For the edges I just applied the patches so that they extended beyond the edges. Once the pieces were dry, I flipped the pallet over and trimmed away the excess.    Using a archival pen, I added faux stitching to all my patchwork.  I then sealed my pallet with Mod Podge.   Once dry I added my tail with some cotton balls. This pallet would be perfect for Easter or even a baby's room!...

Rainbows and Rainy Days

I have loved this April Showers Stamp Set   since she was released!  I just think she is sooo cute!  I decided to pair her with the Seas the Day Variety Pack.    I love that almost every variety pack Dare 2B Artzy releases has plaids and background papers that can be used for any occasion. Stamp and color your image. I originally stamped the flower but then decided not to use in my final project.   Add image to card. I created a dimensional card by folding the front of my card base in half.  Here is my card before being opened. I hope you are inspired to get Artzy!

Puppy Paw Print Welcome

Wipe your paws!   As soon as I saw this new pallet sign from Clear Scraps  I knew exactly what I wanted to create! Who doesn't just love puppy paw prints!  I started by punching two holes in my pallet allow for hanging. Did you know that your crop a dile will punch through the pallet???  So cool! I then painted my pallet.   While my paint was drawing I opened up my word program on my computer and typed wipe your paws and then I found an image for paw prints.  After printing, I grabbed a pencil and rubbed onto the back side of the printed phrase and prints. I then turned the words over again and traced them onto my pallet.  The graphite from the back of the image transfers over to the pallet.  I them transferred the paw prints to the sign the same way! I then grabbed my india ink Pitt pens ( I have a thinner outline one and a thicker one) and traced over the words and paw prints.   I am just love these pens for creati...

Creating a Country Welcome Sign

HOWDY!   Today I am excited to share this quick and easy country welcome sign I created with Clear Scraps brand new release. I started by covering my pallet with patterned paper.  I then punched holes in the pallet and added jute for hanging. I painted my Chipboard HOWDY with black paint and then wrapped jute around an accent point on each letter.  I adhered the letters to my pallet and added a flower for accent.  Once I was "done" I decided to add jute around the outside of the pallet to finish the welcome sign.  Be sure to check out all the new releases from C lear Scraps.
