Artist Point

I created this layout today using Let's Capture our Memories Sketch #105.  I have been in a "playful" mood lately and so I added stamping across the bottom and then inked around the large photo mat.  I also have been adding lots of layered embellishments.  Hope you enjoy!

Exciting News to Share!

I am so excited to announce that I am now part of the Sin City Stamps Design Team.  The Team will be sharing their projects and tutorials several times a week!  I already have started my first projects and will be sharing them soon!!!  Check out all my teammates blogs, they do amazing work!

The Petrified Tree

Today I am sharing this layout using Just Imagines/Kreaxions # 310 punch and This week's sketch at Nuts about Sketches.  I used #310 by itself on the top borders then used the punch with the A insert along the bottom ribbon border.

Lamar Valley

Here is my challenge for this week for Turtle Soup!  My challenge was a sketch challenge, but I challenged everyone to change up the sketch. I choose to rotate it and repeat it to create a 2 page layout.

Learn to Pause

Love these older Bisous PDQ papers.   They have been in my stash for a few years waiting for just the right pictures. I used this week's Nuts about Sketches sketch # 352, adding some banners, and gem dots to help "modernize" this stash paper.

Nuts About Sketches # 351

Here is my take on this week's sketch at Nuts about Sketches. I have been trying to use up some of the papers that I have had saved for a while.  Loves how the colors in these autumn papers brought out the colors in the pictures.

Black Opal Spring

Today I am sharing this lovely layout highlighting Black Opal Spring at Yellowstone.  I love how the blue paper matches the blue in the pictures!  For this layout I used Kreaxion punch # 304 for the border and then used #602 for the leaf under the top flower!  I love the Kreaxion punches and all their possibilities.

Always

I have had this picture of my hubby's grandparents for a while and wanted to create something special for it.  When I saw the Design Team call for Sin City Stamps  I decided to try and combine the two. I have wanted to try out for this team for over a year. I love the designs on their stamps and am anxious to get my first order!  TO create this layout i tried to pick stamps that were similar to some of Sin City's stamps. I have included a step by step creation process below.   The first thing I always start with is just simply laying out the design to get a feel for what I want to do.  Sometimes the finished product turns out exactly like the "starter" one and sometimes it doesn't.  Next I used a Crafters Workshop stencil and Momento Ink on both sides of where I wanted the photo to go.  Hint ... I used just a bit of Washi Tape to hold the stencil in place for easy removal! I added a bit of color using this Heidi Swapp...

Summer Vacation in Yellowstone

Just a quick fun layout using some Pink Paislee papers and a bronze sharpie. The Summer Vacation and Fun words were all originally black.  I re-colored them to match the layout!  I added a bit of bling to highlight the sparkly snow.

Dragon's Mouth

I created this layout using this month's sketch at My Creative Scrapbook!  I had purchased these "dragon" papers specifically for these pictures!  And I actually remembered to use them!! :D I added some gold touches with a hand drawn border and some images stamped in gold ink.  I also used some gold netting that was part of a ribbon on one of my Christmas packages.

Create a scene

For today's challenge at Turtle Soup, I challenged members to scraplift this card   and create a scene.  I love how bright and cheery this card turned out!.
