Psychotic Ramblings from a Serial Scrapper AKA Craft Room Therapy

I created these cards using some goodies from Memories in Uniform . They were published in SNR 's July issue :D The weekend was busy and I am a little partied out. 11 girls Friday night (plus Sarah and Alex) but the girls seemed to have a blast and all crashed early! (early as in about 2 am..) But we all survivied! and I even survived taking Meagan shopping 2 times in one weekend!

Meagan Turns 14 today!!!!!!!!! SO hard to believe it has been 14 years since my "peanut brittle" was born. Happy Birthday Sunshine! On the scrapping front.... hoping to get some done this weekend! :D Have another project I am so excited to be working on.

Playing around with some SEI from CHA and the little adorable day to remember is from Maya Road. FUN! NOt one of my most stellar projects but I was very "blocked" and needed to get some creative juices flowing. wahoo I had a productive weekend. I got to play with my KNK October kit! and wowsa it is delicious! These are my first 2 projects! There are still a few of my card kits left in the KNK store and Jules has a to die for Back 2 School mini album kit up now too. Way too exciting. Lok Deb I used them already and with basic grey too! :D I saw these stamps by GINA K Designs and absolutely had to have them. I kept going back to look at them like hourly! I needed them!!!!! wanted them!!! and Deb helped convince to click the buy now button!

some exciting news here! first you know i have been trying to eat very carefully and reduce teh blood pressure and lose weight and cut out caffiene. well I am down 22 pounds so far, still CAFFIENE FREE!!!! and they just reduced my blood pressures meds !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Wahoo I am soo excited. SO nice to fit into smaller sizes :D I could learn to like shopping!!!!!!! ok now for the second news. .. I am excited to tell you I have a new card kit coming out at KNK . I am so excited!!!! wait to you see it! You will get the supplies and instructions for 6-7 cards! (with plenty of paper left over to make additional cards :D) I can't wait til I can show you a picture! soon very soon!

7 years ago! We as a nation watched, prayed and cried together! I remember that morning. coming into work sick as I had recently started in a new position and had missed most of the week before taking care of Meagan when she was sick. I remember someone had the radio on and we quickly found a TV station. I remeber thinking how in the heck did a plane hit a huge building. within minutes I knew it was not a mistake. I was devasted. I went home sick that day (and stayed home for many days with a 105 temp). Days spent watching the TV. unable to sleep. I remember the "empty skies" looking up and not hearing a single plane over head. very eerie! I remeber the anthrax attacks that followed and from the first case new this was an attack! We were a nation a in fear! afraid to fly! afraid to open the mail. but we stood proud to be a nation! Hoping we never forget those who lost their lives that day or those who are fighting for our country now!

Happy Grandparent's Day to any grandparents out there. I made this card for my grandparents! :D Yesterday I cleaned up my scrap area a bit and am ashamed to admit i found 2 unopened sets of stamps and inks I vaguely remember buying. so hopefully today I will play with those :D
