Color Blocked BEE Card

 

Welcome crafty stampers to today's Craft Room Therapy.  Today we are going to create a card that is perfect for July's Challenge!

This month's Challenge is to create with

***Brights*** Friendship Theme***Punches***Sponging***DSP/ FOIL/ ETC***

I chose to create another color blocking card using my masking paper and blending inks!

Cardstock- Basic White, Daffodil Delight

StaZon

Memento Ink

Window Sheets 

Classic Inks - Flirty Flamingo, Coastal Cabana, Granny Apple Green

Bee My Valentine Stamp Set

Stampin' Write Black Marker

Bee Builder Punch
Blender Brushes


Create a 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 inch card base from Basic White. Cut a background piece to 4 x 5 1/4 inch piece from Basic White.  Cut 1/4 inch strips from Masking Paper. Mask off your background as desired. 



Blend/sponge ink over your background piece. 

Using your Stampin' Write Marker ink your sentiment in segments  and stamp onto one of your color blocks. 


Stamp and punch out your bee. Stamp wings on Window Sheets with StaZon and punch out.

Stamp honeycombs and flowers as shown below. 


Gently remove masking strips and adhere background to your card base.
