Cheery Folded Flowering Zinnia card

Welcome crafty stampers to today's Craft Room Therapy.  Today we are going to create this cheery Folded Flowering Zinnia card. If you know me at all ....it is no secret that I LOVE THE COLOR RED!. So creating this card just made me smile. I love how just that little corner folded back reveals the pretty paper below. I created a cluster of die cut using Unbounded Love Die labels to highlight my cheery greeting.

Flowering Zinnia Designer Series Paper

Baker's Twine

Unbounded Love Dies

Unbounded Love Stamp Set

Real Red Classic Stampin' Ink Pad

Basic White Cardstock

Old Olive Cardstock

Mini Dimensional Adhesives

Stampin' Up Paper trimmer

Multi-purpose Liquid Glue

Pearls

Start by creating your 4 x 5 1/4 inch card base from Basic White Cardstock by cutting to 8 x 5  1/2 and then scoring and folding at 4 inches.

Cut the red Flowering Zinnia paper to 3 1/2 x 5 inches and the small Flowering Zinnia paper to  3 3/4 x 5 1/4 inches.

On your red Flowering Zinnia paper, place a light mark at 1 1/2 inches from the right edge. ON the right edge of the paper, place another light mark 1 1/2 inches from the top. Line up these marks on your trimmer and using the scoring blade score between the marks.

Fold back your scored corner and adhere the red Flowering Zinnia paper to your small Flowering  Zinnia Paper.

Dies cut several labels and leaf stem from cardstock and your Flowering Zinnia papers to create your sentiment cluster.  This was my chosen labels.  I like to lay them out before I glue them down.  SO don't glue yet.

Stamp your sentiment from the Unbounded Love Stamp set.

Assemble your sentiment cluster adding a double bow from the Baker's Twine. USe Mini Dimensional adhesives to pop up your Sentiment.

Adhere the sentiment cluster to your card and finish off by adding a pearl to the corner of your fold.

I hope you enjoyed this little Craft Room "Therapy" session!
