Poinsettia Wishes

112316poinsettia

Hi Chris here and I am so excited to share this adorable Christmas Card! I just love these new stamps and papers from Dare 2B Artzy!

I started by matting my Holly Days paper onto coordinating card stock and attaching it to my card base.

I then stamped my Poinsettia Tangle stamp onto a piece of dictionary paper with the Pomegranate ink.

If you are an avid book person like me, and have a hard time tearing a page out a book I have a little hint for you.... go to your dollar store and buy a cheap dictionary...then you won't feel guilty for tearing out the pages.

I then fussy cut the stamped image and matted onto the coordinating red card stock and then fussy cut the matted image.  I added some liquid pearls to the center of my poinsettia and added the flower to my card, tucking in a few die cut holly leaves.

I then stamped my greeting and double matted the greeting into a banner and attached to the card.  I topped the poinsettia off with a coordinating ribbon bow.

So.... what have you stamped lately?

Sin City Stamps Love

Hi.Today I am happy to show off my love of Sin City Stamps.  They are under new ownership and finally announced their Design Team Call!  As I look back alot of my favorite projects were made when I was designing for Sin City Stamps!  The stamps always inspired me to create! So I want to share some of my favorite projects!  I started off showing you the canvas above created with Fairies & Blossoms Sets.

Below I have more fairies mixed with some Graphic 45 papers.   The fairies here are stamped on vellum  to create a transparent look to fairies.

Next is a cool layout I created with the nautical stamps!

One last layout showing some vintage stamps.

Next are some of my other (non-card, non-layout )projects
My Alice in Wonderland Tea Cup.

Next is a Canvas I created  using Sin City Stamps and die cuts.

Then I have this adorable Easter Tag

Then here are a few of my favorite cards.

I hope you are inspired to get stamping and thank you for letting me share my projects!

Thanks- Paisley Style

110916thanks Hi  today I would like to share my take on this month's challenge. To create this simple but stunning card I started by laying the stamps from my Paisley Bliss set out on my block.
I then ink my stamps using my Wild Orchid Ink, and stamped onto white card stock, rotating my stamp block as needed to fill my background. I then cut the card stock into 3 pieces and matted onto a piece of coordinating card stock. and then placed the matted images onto my card base.  I created a simple banner greeting using letter stickers and topped off my card with a double ribbon bow, some netting and a rose. I really love how the finished card turned out.
